TCB Annual Picnic 2006
The TCB annual picnic will be held from Saturday 26 August to Monday 28 August 2006 midday at the Pestalozzi Village . The full address is: Pestalozzi Village Sedlescombe , Battle , East Sussex , TN33 ORR (off the A21, approx. 7 miles from Hastings ) The nearest train stations are either Battle (3 miles from Pestalozzi ) or Hastings (7 miles).
25th August 2006 Dinner - 8pm Rice and Dal For those who are arriving on Friday night. 26th August 2006 Breakfast - 7.30 am onwards Cereal, bread, tea and coffee Lunch - 1 pm Beef curry, Vegetable, Rice Dinner - 8 pm Momo, Noodle, Salad
27th August 2006 Breakfast - 7.30 am Cereal, bread, tea and coffee Lunch - 1 pm Mutton curry, Spare ribs, Vegetable, Chickpeas, Aloo Dum, Dal, Rice, Pitta Bread General Assembly - 2:30 pm Reports by members of the TCB board + Election of the new TCB board Dinner - 8 pm Barbecue 28th August 2006 Breakfast - 7.30 am Cereal, bread, tea and coffee Lunch - 1 pm Chicken and Vegetable Biryani Accommodation As usually bring your tents. However, we have only limited rooms available during the picnic, so email me at tibetancommunityinbritain @gmail.com at the earliest if you need rooms during the picnic. Bed only - bring your own sleeping bags. £ 15.28 per person per night Volunteers
Some members have already volunteered to help preparing meals. However, we would appreciate more help at the kitchen. It will help us to serve our meals on time.
Entertainment
On Saturday and Sunday night we will have both Tibetan song and dance to start followed by modern music and dance. Unfortunately, we are not able to organise archery, fencing and etc as the group that normal helps us is not longer with Pestalozzi. Therefore, please during any groups games and entertainment. Ones with the best group games will win a bottle of wine or cane of beer. Charges
