Dear members,

The Annual General Body meeting and the election of the Tibetan Community in Britain will be held on 27 August 2006 at 2.30pm during the annual picnic.

I have sent by post the postal ballot forms for the election. If you haven't received it or need additional forms, please let me know.

Also if any one of you wishes to independently stand for the election, can you let me know?

The first Tibetan Community in Britain 's Annual General Meeting was held on 11 December 1971 . Since then we've been holding the AGM once every two years during which new Council Members are democratically elected by the Tibetan Community in Britain .

The Tibetan Community in Britain 's Council Members consist of

• Sponsorship Secretary
• Campaign Manager
• Event Co-ordinator
