The nearest train stations are either Battle (3 miles from Pestalozzi) or Hastings (7 miles). The site will be located at the top end of Pestalozzi Village (near the playgrounds) and will be clearly marked on the day.

TCB Supporters and Friends of Tibet are most welcome to the picnic

For those who will be joining us for a shorter period, the charges are as follows:

£4 per meal per person for those who pay TCB membership fees

We will expect people attending the picnic to share in some of the workload including participating in the cooking of meals for the weekend. The picnic is run as a non-profit event and all charges levied by the Tibetan Community are made to cover the costs for the weekend.

There is no charge to you for the camping site for those of you who are bringing your tents and camping out for the weekend. The Tibetan Community makes a payment to Pestalozzi for the use of the site and their facilities for the weekend. If you do not have a tent and are considering hiring rooms/beds for the weekend, please contact Carol Blythe at the Pestalozzi Village on 01424 870444 between Tuesday to Friday. A hire fee will be charged at the rate of £10/bed/night for the weekend. Please bring your own sleeping bags/bedding.

Please note that the Pestalozzi Village and not the Tibetan Community in Britain are making this charge. Rooms/beds will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please note that many activities are being planned for the weekend for those who are interested; please see the enclosed programme for more details.

Both the archery and zip wire will be available for the whole 2 hours duration on Saturday & Monday.
