Our Chairman has announced in previous events that there will be a special audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama for all the Tibetans. We hope many of you and your families will attend this rare opportunity to receive blessing and advice from His Holiness. Please check website for more detail.

On Sunday 18th May, we emailed the registered users about the Time and Venue of His Holiness' Audience. If you registered and didn't get the email, please contact the Tibetan Council either by email or call Kunsang-la's number. We'll cross-reference your detail with our list before sending you the details.

As you will be aware, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has kindly accepted invitations to visit the UK in May 2008 from the All Party Parliamentary Group for Tibet, Tibet Society, Dharma Network (formed of various Buddhist organisations in the UK) and Oxford University's Blackfriars Hall and Centre for Buddhist Studies, to give a series of talks and teachings in London, Nottingham and Oxford. The request from the Tibetan Community in Britain for an audience for Tibetans submitted through the Office of Tibet has also been very kindly accepted.

We are now delighted to announce that the Office of Tibet has informed us that the audience for Tibetans living in the UK is scheduled on the morning of 22nd May 2008. The time and venue will be confirmed nearer the audience date and we will be informing this to you by e-mail and also please visit our website for an update.

Please note due to security reasons, we are requesting each and every Tibetan and their non-Tibetan spouse interested in attending the audience to under-go a registration process. This can be either a form to fill and return OR go online to an especially set up Dalai Audience Registration page in the community site and register. (Please note this registration page is different to the normal TCB registration page which is available to everybody).

We have already sent the registration form and emailed 'the online Audience Registration link' to those whose contact details we already have. If you didn't receive one or would like to receive one, please email the Council to request registration. The council will email you 'the online Audience Registration link' after carefully reviewing your request. Please appreciate this registration is for Tibetans and their non-Tibetan spouses only.

Post and online registration are collected on 15th May. Nearer the time of the event, TCB council will email the time and venue of the Audience to those who have successfully registered. On the day of the Audience please note that we will cross-reference your identity to our registration list at the gate.
