Celebration of Losar: Earth-Mouse Year 2135 (Tibetan New Year)

Official Losar falls on 7 February and traditionally first day of Losar is celebrated amongst the family members. The Tibetan Community in Britain is celebrating Losar this year on Saturday, 9 February 2008, which will be on third day of Losar. We would like to invite all Tibetans and friends to the Party from 4pm till midnight.
Venue: Highbury Roundhouse, Youth and Community Centre, 71 Ronalds Road, London N5 1XB
Entrance fee: £12 at the door and £10 in advance; Children under 10 are free.

We hope you all will join us to celebrate our Losar party. It is a good opportunity for all of us to get to know each other. We are organising various entertainments that includes exciting activities for children, Tibetan songs, bingo-tambola and talent show. As always you are welcome to bring your own instruments for entertainment. A delicious food will be prepared by our own chief Chef but we need assistant to help with the preparation.
