Tibetan Democracy Day Celebration

The Tibetan Community in Britain will be celebrating the Tibetan Democracy Date on 3 September 2006 at the Tibet House, 1 Culworth Street, London NW8 7AF at 6.30pm sharp.

We will start with the official ceremony - Address by Mrs Kesang Y Takla - His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Representative and Mr Sonam Frasi, Member of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile.

This will be followed by a panel discussion - Working together for Tibet and helping fellow Tibetans .  The panellist will be

• Mrs Kunsang Chodon - TCB Council Member
• Mr Karma D. Churatsang (Abu) - UK Tibetan Youth
• Mr Tsering - Woolwich resident
• Mr Ngawang - Woolwich resident

Mr Tenzin Samphel - TCB Council Member

At the end of the celebration, the new Council Members and their respective porfilio will be announced followed by light refreshment.
